Motif No. 8/25 - Bookmark "Dancing Kristine"
I'm still working on the animal for Hanna (sorry, Hanna, I'm so late with it, but by now, I can tell I'm still not up to the mark to design animals, but I'll finish it up ASAP). Anyway, my girl, Kristine, is attending Shichida class, my attention was wandering as I sat behind her in her class. Not sure if this looks similar to anyone's earlier pattern, but I came up with it inside the classroom without referring to anything. After tatting out the piece, I attempted to draw the diagram out. I didn't test-proof it again, so if anyone does tat it and spot any mistake, let me know! Although this uses 2 shuttles, I think this is the simplest of the 8 designs so far.

I love "Dancing Kristine"! I really like the way the tatting frames the design on the ribbon.
Now, THIS I can read! How did you diagram the pattern on the computer, do you mind telling me what program you used?
Thanks, Diane! I'm also quite happy with it, and also because I got the stitch count right on 1st try.
Well, Tattingchic, I use Microsoft Office Word to draw the diagram, as I don't know other proper drawing programmes. The curve lines, the small picot marks and numbers were all done individually and had to align everything slowly. A slow and frustrating process but I hope it is worth the effort.
And I think the other pattern on the heart, you can now click on it to enlarge it. I have also tried to darken the text against the background.
LOVE this pattern. I have made it 3 times LOL. Just need to post a pic. All 3 were done in the almost the same colors.
Thank you for the awesome patterns!
Thanks, Connie, can't wait to see what you have done!
