I think this tulip can be used as a bookmark, but it will need stiffening if it is to be used as one. But no, this is not going to the bookmark for Vicki, I am almost done doing another pattern for her. Watch out in the next post!
Coincidentally, Diana's TIAS project is finally revealed as a tulip too. I have printed out the TIAS instructions earlier and wanted to work on it, but just haven't got started.

Oh WoW!!!! I LOVE this tulip!!! Are you going to be sharing any of your designs by any chance?
Love your tattings!
I'm very flattered by your comment! Being fairly new to designing but an experienced tatter, I worked with outlines and I just made up as I tat. I am pushing myself to meet the deadlines of the round robins and in-between, to come up with motifs for the challenge. Now, I'm addicted to just create, and of course, to finish the tatting to send out to my partners. It will be a chore to write out the patterns, as so far, all are not symmetrical motifs. Still hope to find time and the mood some days to sit down to write them out. If I manage to do it, I will love to share some of the patterns. Stay tuned!
The tulip is lovely and very realistic. You did a great job. I hope you will find time to share the pattern one day. I understand the addiction to create as I have just been bitten by that bug recently. Keep up the good work.
Your tulip is beautiful! I especially love the leaves! Oh, to be able to design and tat a beautiful flower!
