Mini Books and Tatted Bookmarks for Exchanges

I did a paper bag mini album swap in March with Shallale Figaro.  The mail took a whole month to arrive from Mexico
Shallale used very small brown paper bags of about 2" × 2.5" and bound them together with a ring from a keychain and another metal ring.
I did mine with envelopes instead - folded in half and altered the opening. About 4.5" × 4.5".

Tatted Sem's name on paperclips for his last day  of work in the office in Feb.
Designed another tatted name, this time on a bookmark.  In fact, both bookmarks are newly designed and tatted for Diane Merlock (USA) for the NeedlesnCrafts 2016 Bookmark Exchange.

Di Magical Bloom and Heart You.

Wonderful! I especially love the tatted names! So often it takes a bit of imagination to read tatted letters but yours and clear and beautiful!

I can't quite work out what has been done to the paper bags! - but it looks wonderful. And I love the tatted bookmarks of course : )

The little books are adorable! I'm amazed at many of the projects you try. I really like those bookmarks. I think I'm going to have to expand my horizons and try some new things!

Thanks for all your lovely comments!

Well, Michelle, I always love the challenge to tat alphabets.

Maureen, Shallale has a video to show how she did the mini-paper bag albums.

Yes, Diane, there are certainly so many interesting crafts out there that people do.

Such an inspiring array of crafts & ideas !!! The folded envelope album is very clever & practical since it has a closing flap to keep the contents secure :-)
Beautifully tatted names !

Yes, Muskaan, an envelope book is meant to be used to keep things inside the envelopes. You can use any size of envelopes to bind into a book.
